In 2021, SafeSource Direct laid the foundation for our mission to provide high-quality, American-made PPE to our nation. Capitalization, structure, and governance were established. Construction of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Louisiana began, marking the first step toward fulfilling our vision.
2022: Delivering on Promises
In just a single year, we accomplished what many thought was impossible. We completed two manufacturing facilities and initiated our phase-in production strategy. From nitrile gloves to procedure masks, surgical masks, and shoe covers, we were a beacon of reliability in the PPE landscape. Obtaining critical government approvals and certifications, including the FDA 510(k) clearance, underscored our commitment to quality.
2023: Rapid Expansion
As SafeSource Direct continues to forge ahead, 2023 brings exciting developments. We continue to expand our team and product lines. Quality certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485 for the SMS Plant, and other certifications, demonstrate our dedication to excellence. We’ve created nearly 1,000 jobs and expect to create another 1,000. We’re already producing 2.2 billion nitrile gloves annually, and we’re on track to produce 12 billion annually.
